Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction Part 14: A Pirate Captain
0So, after landing on Ardolis and traversing through about half of it, we continue our little journey through the pirate-infested planet in order to get to a clue, telling us where Papa Apogee is. Now, I think this is where they first introduce yet another contender who is after the artifact which is a Pirate Captain who is claiming ownership over the artifact. A Rather odd thing since it was created by Lombaxes and not robotic pirates; I assume he might try and use it to threaten other people for money since, as far as we know it, the device was used to eradicate an entire race of alien (that being Tachyon’s race; we’ll get into how he survived/is still around a little later). I’m wondering if this is another red herring (that we are supposed to believe that the Pirate is evil) or just a legitimate enemy that we are going to have to fight later down the road. Lately, I’ve just been thinking that everything in a video game is a red herring for some reason and waiting for there to be some epic reveal that people are going to yell at me for not noticing earlier in the game. I just expect that to happen for some reason; It hasn’t as of writing this.
