In this video, we tackle the game's one sidequest which has the single most dangerous non-boss encounter in the game. As for the area itself, the old enemies are gone and replaced with guys from Valmar's Moon. You can still fight the Chameleon enemies since they are hidden in the flowers, but all of the others are gone.

As for loot to be found here, there are those junk weapons on the shore that I grabbed. I looked it up and I can't find any purpose for them (they're really weak). I am wondering if it may have been part of a scrapped sidequest like the Poff Nuts, where they may have functioned like the Devil Arms from Tales games (they get stronger as you use them).

Finally, to get the majority of our loot, we have to traverse the labyrinth that is now full of a new, never before seen (and never will be seen again) enemy, that is the most dangerous in the game. If not for the fact that they have somewhat low HP, they would probably be the single strongest opponent you can find in the game. Their Ba-Boom spell can hit for 4k (minimum), which is enough to one shot anyone in the party from full health. On the other hand, their other spells and attacks aren't as impressive, so success in the fights really comes down to not letting them cast that one spell. There are quite a few of them to be found throughout the labyrinth, and with a couple exceptions, the rewards here actually aren't that impressive. Other than the EXP and SC doublers, you can go the rest of the game without anything found here. Granted, the 7th mana egg is here and it contains all of the support/utility spells, but due to the way the last few fights play out, I don't think you can have anyone use it without really drawing out some fights. It might make more sense if the 8th egg were there, which is kind of OP, and you'll see what I mean in tomorrow's video.

Final note is that if you're wondering, the gameplay will be ending this week with a new game appearing before this one finishes. My upload schedule will be revised this week and I'll know more as the week progresses.
