In this video, we tackle the final dungeon of the game but save the majority of the final boss as well as the ending scenes for tomorrow's video. Compared to the last couple dungeons, this one is not nearly as bad, even if the enemies are growing more and more durable. Sadly, it isn't quite that easy to one round anything anymore, but the positive side is that since I'm able to reduce the cost of spells, casting a second one isn't as damaging as it was earlier in the playthrough.

The video does conclude with the first stage of the final boss before we have to fight the various pieces of Valmar in succession, buffed to the point where they're relevant once again. Unfortunately, this game is not like Chrono Trigger in where the final armor equips have some degree of status protection, which is very noticeable since these last fights are primarily status bombs. After everything we've been through, I have to admit that these last couple fights are a bit of a letdown, all things considered.
