This is the project I think a lot of people have been waiting for. A reminder that the game is neither vaporware, nor forgotten. There are quite a few improvements to be found here, starting with the art. Near the end I talk about my thoughts regarding the writing, but I'll let that speak for itself.

As for combat, due to this being the first fight, it appears we aren't too overwhelmed by the pirates. However, things are a bit tougher since we have to use pre-set units without any serious upgrades from the previous parts. The CP system has changed as well, which I'm not entirely sold on yet. Requiring full CP to fire the Vanguard Cannon will almost guarantee no one will use it since Full Forward is so much better.

But otherwise, at this point I may very well be committed to finishing the project (hopefully it doesn't come out at a turbulent time). Sunrider Academy just didn't interest me as it didn't have anything to make it stand out from any other dating sim game, compared to this one that does have the strategic battle system. Sadly, it is really RNG dependent, and somewhat in a state of flux as various systems get reworked, but it is not bad in the grand scheme of things. Ultimately, we're going to have to sit and wait to see what the end result is. Sadly, it will be a month minimum before I upload any more footage, and it will be contingent upon the devs actually wanting me to show things off.
