Strive's Arcade stories are fairly disconnected from the actual Story Mode or Main Movie, they seem to happen possibly after the main story is done and tend to usually focus on Nago in some way or another; this does change for some of the new DLC characters, giving them different bosses and plots more related to other things that aren't capturing or talking to Nagoriyuki.
In Potemkin's case, a staple and ever present standard character in the roster, the story does indeed focus on Nago, more specifically it's another of Potemkin's Diplomatic missions with one of the Kings of Illyria, similar to his REV2 Plotline in the Arcade Mode but this time around it's Leo Whitefang rather than Ky Kyske...

Not sure why i gave a synopsis but the point is that it's another very general plot that doesn't really expand Potemkin himself as a character. Hell, the only ending that seems to say anything about Potemkin is the [Extreme into Hard S-8] Route which seems to further point out how Potemkin is still unsure on his own role as a Soldier for Zepp and what he is actually fighting for, something further highlighted by his Strive's Music Theme (Which are often used to explore the characters more than anything else), while every other ending is more about trying to fulfill his Diplomatic Mission with Leo, which seems to be about Human and Gears Coexisting (which is connected to the Story Movie ending, thus dating this Arcade to post Story Movie).

Ok I nerd-ed enough about the lore... The video is purely story with no gameplay and it shows every single dialogue and ending.
Dialogues only happen in S-1, S-7 if Extreme Route, S-8 and S-9 and the different triggers are dependant on never losing a round vs losing even a single round.
The Route system is fairly simple but also kind of annoying as it forces minimum 4 playthroughs to see all dialogues and Endings (which there are 4 despite the Routes being 3 due to being able to switch from Extreme to Hard at any point of the Arcade).

I think it's interesting to explain how this works a bit: The first stage will determine if you play Extreme (Didn't lose a round) or Normal (Lost a round). If you are on Extreme you can now fall back to Hard by winning a fight with a lost round which will lead you to the Dual Fight Hard Ending unless you specifically fall into the Hard Route at the very end of Extreme, which is S-8; also if you were to fall into the Hard Route before S-7 you don't get to fight the S-1 opponent and see the Hard Route Dialogue.
It's simple but also, surprisingly convoluted in a way and due to the system there are 4 endings instead of 3.
Enjoy the lore!
