[In an effort to gain a better understanding on how to create 3D platformers in Unity, we set out on an adventure to produce this love letter to Crash Bandicoot.]

This little project honestly really gets the core idea that makes Crash Bandicoot fun as a series, the gameplay and to a degree even the presentation, albeit that one is a bit jank if I can be a bit brutally honest; still, the way the gameplay is handled, the way the levels are constructed, the way the challenges inside of them are presented, there is a real understanding in how to make full use of the core mechanics of Crash and what makes the game challenging or interesting.

I think the only thing missing from the game as of now is Time Trials as an extra challenge (considering there are Crash 4 Trials) and probably that's kind of all, maybe a Boss Battle if you do everything? Can't say, as even as is the game is a really nice 2 hour run that really gives you a quick "Classic-ish" Crash Bandicoot for free.

That aside there isn't much I can say that isn't just repeating that this game does understand what makes Crash Crash or making an entire video essay about the original trilogy (thats a fun idea) that goes through the gameplay itself and whatnot, so, you should just watch the video, read my commentary and download the game for yourself! Its real good if you are into that classic "Hallway" based 3D platformer a la Crash, and to make sure you get a taste of the game but not the entirety of it I also only played 4 out of the 10 Traditional Levels and only one of each type of Trial/Flashback, so if you want to see the rest, you should go download it!
