A powerful technique when used right.
One of the most interesting mechanics in Hisoutensoku is the Border Escape System and what is even more intriguing is learning how to really push it to its limits; BE6-ing to punish Blockstrings is definitely one of those cases.

Due to how Pressure works, cancelling your "Big Command Normals" (3A/6A) into a Tight Projectile is a very common sequence that allows the "Attacker" to setup some form of pressure that, if you know your defense, can be OS-ed and all that. That aside, you could also solve the issue at its roots by simply BE6-ing straight into a Punish and [The Checkmate] is exactly that kind of thing!

I think it's important to mention some details that I left out of the video for lenght's sake and whatnot:
- Generally speaking if you get a CH you have executed the technique correctly and you caught their HJ or Attack, though not all attacks or actions after a Command Normal may trigger the CH effect.
- This is still a "read based" Tech, meaning that the opponent can play around it and punish you for trying it
- Like explained prior, BE6-ing properly the right situations can allow you punishes that are otherwise impossible, consider this an "extension" of that idea
- While this Tech is better suited for Characters with "Fully Invincible Melee Reversals", it's also true that almost the entire cast as at least one "Melee Spell" somewhere in their arsenal that could be used in tandem with this strategy, maybe with more "debatable" results, but nonetheless giving them a shot at it
- As mentioned, the strings portrayed here are typical Tight ones because this is where BE6 shines the strongest but it is absolutely doable on un-tight sequences too, just not as important as you could simply 6D and then punish in less commital ways or simply escape back to Neutral
