Managing a single run at "Lunatic" took me quite awhile, the fights don't make themselves easy at all, they give you no space to commit mistakes, which, makes sense considering the context.
While on the topic, the difference between "Normal Boss Rush" and "Lunatic Boss Rush" is that in Lunatic you do not recover Lives between Stages, thus forcing you to commit to an almost "perfect run" to beat the entire Boss Rush.

Can't say I know much about those two aside from superficial information so I'll tackle this fangame as its own thing; despite the "rough looks" it actually plays really smooth and the Movement Tech is actually really fun, the Bosses movesets are pretty nice too and quite challenging in a... mostly fair way I would say, and they are all either pretty well Telegraphed either by sound or using very clear-cut Key poses (from the Hisoutensoku Spriteset). That and you can also play around the timing of the attacks which is consistent accross all 4 fights and if you jump when its the Boss turn you can sort of OS whatever option they are throwing, at least for the most part.
Also, worth of note and not correlated, the music selection is quite good, I especially like using the "Xi-On" version of Utsuho's Theme, great choice!

All in all, despite the rather rough graphical look it was a really fun game that I think could be a good starting point for a more "advanced game", as there are a few things that could be fixed, adjusted or made better.

Personally the only "real issues" I had were that the fights felt very "detached", as you can't really interact in a proper "active" manner in the fight and can only play a "passive" role and maximize the damage output by either predicting or knowing the moveset in advance, and while that is kind of the point of this entire game I do think having access to some tool or action as a reward for dodging precisely or parrying or something could push the gameplay a bit more...
