3Game Information: Snowdrop Escape is a story-driven modification for Half-Life 2. Its events unfold a few years before Gordon Freeman's appearance in City 17. The invaders are tightening their grip on the dictatorship while The Resistance is slowly gathering strength. Plenty of abandoned, yet not rusty, assets remain outside The Combine's control, drawing the attention of the rebels. However, a third party enters the fray, reluctant to share their technologies with either the Invaders or the Rebels. This is the party you play for.
You assume the role of a professional mercenary named James. Your employers task you with infiltrating a rebel-held laboratory complex. You are to clear out any unwanted guests, initiate the emergency protocol, all while avoiding attracting The Combine's attention. As it turns out, this is no easy task...
Chapter Information: Now inside the main underground complex, James navigates various industrial facilities and underground systems and fights off dozen of hostile Resistance members that attempt to halt his progress.
Despite all this, James is able to fight off the various Resistance members and blockages in his way and solves more complex puzzles and hazards that the Resistance set up to block him from heading further.
Eventually reaching a mysterious underground chapel, James learns more about the Snowdrop anomaly and the history of the complex and how it was built to study and research the titular Snowdrop anomaly.
After leaving the underground chapel, James finally arrives at the main research laboratory for the underground complex ready to complete his main objective in freeing the facility from Resistance control.
