2Game Information: Snowdrop Escape is a story-driven modification for Half-Life 2. Its events unfold a few years before Gordon Freeman's appearance in City 17. The invaders are tightening their grip on the dictatorship while The Resistance is slowly gathering strength. Plenty of abandoned, yet not rusty, assets remain outside The Combine's control, drawing the attention of the rebels. However, a third party enters the fray, reluctant to share their technologies with either the Invaders or the Rebels. This is the party you play for.
You assume the role of a professional mercenary named James. Your employers task you with infiltrating a rebel-held laboratory complex. You are to clear out any unwanted guests, initiate the emergency protocol, all while avoiding attracting The Combine's attention. As it turns out, this is no easy task...
Chapter Information: Now inside the main underground laboratory, James encounters the Administrator of the complex who explains the crucial situation of restoring key access to the complex.
After being gifted a key card used to gain access to certain sections of the complex, James solves a tricky puzzle and ventures towards the multiverse chamber at the very heart of the facility itself.
Entering an odd multiverse transfer dimension, James is tasked to survive an electrical storm using a flare gun to light up various machines within the dome to be transported towards the next successful dimension.
Arriving in the next dimension, James fights off Bullsquids on an old cargo ship that is located within a separate dimensional dome. Meeting up with a mysterious stranger who has guided him throughout the dimension, James acquires the key card and returns to the main laboratory.
Gaining access to the administrative office, James activates the neurotoxin gas that floods the facility eliminating all the Resistance members inside the complex.
Parting ways with the Administrator, James leaves the underground complex and returns to the surface where he discovers that Combine Soldiers have arrived seeking out James and the underground complex.
