The tenth and penultimate part of Halo 4. I complete Composer and begin Midnight in this part. Master Chief must defend the Composer and prevent it from falling into the Didact’s hands.

Fighting off Covenant troops through the dark hallways and heading to a large room with more Covenant, the Master Chief runs into a group of scientists and guards. The Chief heads to another airlock room, fighting the Covenant forces inside. He then heads to a balcony overlooking the station's exterior. The Chief takes out two cloaked Elites and inserts Cortana into the console. Cortana brings the defense grid online, with Dr. Tilson tasking the Chief with meeting her on the upper platform for her to help him. Master Chief walks down the hallway and makes his way to the door at the end, opening to a hallway and finally letting the Chief into a room with a view of the cavern. Inside the cavern, Phantoms are dropping off Covenant soldiers near the Composer. Master Chief informs Dr. Tillson that the Composer's location has been compromised, and he needs the nuke. The Chief heads outside and hops on a Mantis, attempting to defend the Composer from Covenant waves and vehicles. Master Chief heads back inside and activates the elevator to meet with Dr. Tillson, but the Mantle’s Approach has retrieved the Composer. The Composer fires and kills everyone in the building, with the exception of Master Chief. Master Chief eventually awakens some time later. Cortana and the Chief both know that more people will be gone if the Didact reaches Earth. She notices what the Librarian did to Master Chief worked, and she spins up a Broadsword in hangar C-11. They know the fight is not over yet.

Master Chief and Cortana are on Ivanoff Station's hangar where they are on an F-41 Broadsword fighter, blasting forward into space and pursuing the Mantle's Approach. The fighter eventually approaches the Didact's ship and nestles on the top. The shields of the Mantle's Approach activate as the ship and the Broadsword pass into Slipspace together. The Broadsword flies forward through an enormous chasm in the Forerunner ship. Master Chief shoots down Forerunner anti-air turrets while avoiding large moving walls until eventually arriving at the interior of the ship. Master Chief neutralizes the Particle Cannons, and Infinity fires its twin fore weapons, striking the front of the Mantle's Approach and creating a hole leading to the interior. Master Chief enters the ship through the hole, avoiding walls closing in to stop the fighter. He can see the tunnel grow tighter and tighter, and the fighter crashes. The Chief jumps out the fighter and removes the warhead from the missile, locking it onto the back of his armor. Master Chief begins to head down a tunnel and fight off Promethean forces while Cortana tries to scan for the Composer. He heads to another room to fight off Knights, and jumps down a shaft. He goes down the hallway to find a room with a large chasm. Cortana opens a portal to another room, with the Chief taking it.
