Halo 4 (The Master Chief Collection) - Part 2
0I begin Requiem in the second part of Halo 4. Master Chief and Cortana attempt to find a way back to Earth, but plans may change when they come across a Forerunner structure.
Master Chief searches the crash site and comes across a still-active UNSC computer terminal with a log entry from Dr. Halsey. Cortana sets up a waypoint for the Chief to move through the crevice. On the other side, he comes across Forerunner structures and Warthogs. Master Chief boards a Warthog and starts driving, eventually reaching a small valley with Covenant Phantoms and troops. He takes on the Covenant forces in the valley and takes another crevice leading him to the Forerunner structure, the base of the large spire. After taking out Covenant troops at the base, the Chief arrives at the main entrance and enters the structure. The doors seal him inside of the antechamber, where he finds a console in the back and activates it to access the Cartographer. Master Chief is able to get the Cartographer back online, fighting off Covenant forces in the process. Cortana explains that the Cartographer doesn't want to triangulate UNSC Infinity's signal. She accesses the map and explains that a Terminus is at the far side of the complex, and they can portal to the planet's core from there. Master Chief begins to fight his way to the Terminus, taking out Covenant troops as he moves through the bridge and arriving at a small valley with a large Forerunner complex.
