This is the ninth mission of Halo: Combat Evolved, played on Heroic. Guilty Spark is continuing his attempts to activate Halo, and the Flood is spreading. To stop both of these, Cortana has determined that the best method is to self-destruct the Pillar of Autumn. To do this, we need Captain Keyes, or at least his neural implants, as Cortana does not have authorization to initiate the self-destruct. We have located him aboard a Covenant cruiser - again - that is disabled and being overrun by the Flood while the Covenant desperately tries to stop them from taking it.
