Hayato marvel vs capcom 2 combo video collection... No assists, bugs, just lightsabers
452Some new combos along with the other videos ive done for him all in one. Notes...
-As usual for my marvel videos we already know the game is crazy and full of bugs and glitchs, so I try to focus on pushing just the character themselves as far as they can go using no bugs, no assists. Just what they were given.
-I wanted to show more of this hayato infinite loop concept that I came up with. But im gonna be honest I play games very rarely now a days, its just to pass time, and the combo is not easy or intuitive at all. I kinda wanted to do the whole start of the song like a min of just loops, but I don't have the patience to keep trying it that long. So just showing the idea of it is humanly possible in the first place is enough for me.
-random notes I show in the video that im not sure for other characters but for some reason when you press df+hp with hayato although its the same move it comes out faster than his normal launcher thus the hop slash, to df+hp ill assume is something like a JF link and will actually work...
-I really wanted to find a way to get a double plasma combo with out using any bugs or glitchs or assists, but I just couldnt figure out a way to do it. If you had a programable controller I assume it might be possible to do lp plasma combo, link to k, k, hop slash, dash cancel hp plasma combo. But IF this even works period im not sure and ill assume would take a programmable controller kinda vibe. Perhaps there are some set ups that allude or escape me, something situational as it is possible to do hop slash, dash duck k, not just stand k as well, but I havent noticed it really havnt anymore range than the stand off hand but again, getting into the realms of what is humanly possible/what I have the patience for to try to do. But saying that perhaps its possible to get some quadruple hop slash loops as well character specific wise, but I just didnt have the patience to keep trying.
-I put some weird throw stuff in there just because well I had it on tape. And im not sure how well its known that hayato can actually cancel the final few frames of his dashing slash with a attack since its kinda awkward and strange how it works. You can also kara cancel his lightsaber stuff into throws which is kinda neat...
Theres a few other strange bugs etc i could have shown but you know him not sure how I would work them into combos other than just being obscure and again trying to stay away from to many bugs since once you open that bag of worms we already know this game has been bugged, TAS, programable controllered to death combo video wise, so again im more so trying to just focus pushing him as far as he can go with what is humanly possible with what he was originally given.
Anyway pretty much done so i decided just to put everything i have together and upload it. Sure you can do a little bit more here and there, but do i personally have the will to do it as is? Nope I dont at this moment.
