HEROES OF MIGHT & MAGIC V (5) MODDED V 5.66c - Mission 1: The Queen - Let's Play #01
0This is HEROES of Might & MAGIC V (5) released for the PC in 2006 if my memory serves me right, but it's using a giant modification for the game - which required the two expansion packs "Hammer of Fate" (Dwarven Expansion) and "Tribes of the East" (Orc Expansion) to function - I do remember buying the original game when it released, then I never did buy the dwarven expansion pack - but I did later buy the stand-alone Orc Expansion. Many years later in 2015 I did buy the Complete Edition of the game which included the dwarven expansion.
The mod is a few years old and enhances the three releases in every way posisble - the graphics have a much improved resolution, the AI is much more competent both in battle and on the map - especially on the map where it will no longer take ages to make its moves (in the original game a skirmish battle took forever because the AI or computer was notoriously slow - in this mod it is much faster) - all the Missions of all the three games are also a part of the mod so you can play all three without needing to close down the game.
I did never finish the campaign because the AI was too slow in the original game. This game unlike the 3rd and 4th games is easier and is the first game using 3D graphics. Unlike games VI and VII it wasn't a bad game. The graphics were unfortunately a bit cartoony.
