About this video: This video showcases an incredible high-end gaming PC built for Twitch streaming and video editing. The total price for this build is $1,750, and with it, you will be able to stream and edit video for years to come! Additionally, you will be able to stream to TwitchTV and game at the exact same time on this PC. Live encoding is freaking resource intensive, and because of that, it is important to choose the right PC components for the job.
Thus, for the processor, we are going to be using an Intel i7 8700k 6 core CPU. This processor will allow for H.264 live encoding to TwitchTV without any issues, and it will give you extra processing power to be able to game while livestreaming meaning you won't need two PCs in order to stream.
In regards to the GPU, we are going with an 8GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080. This graphics card is the biggest expense in this system, but it will future proof it for 3 to 5 years of streaming without any issues. With that, we are getting 32GB of RAM which is plenty for video editing and streaming to Twitch, and this can be updated to 64GB in the future without any issues.
We've also thrown a 500GB Crucial MX500 SSD for your operating system and programs, and you'll have a 4TB Western Digital Caviar Blue for any big data like videos and photos that you need to store. With this combo, you won't have any issues storing any and all data that you want.
