About this video: This video takes a side-by-side look at whether it is better to buy a PC from CyberPowerPC or build a computer yourself. Now, a few years ago, that answer was easy, but now, with graphics card prices and RAM prices through the roof, it's not as easy of a question. CyberPowerPC has some pretty good deals, and depending on the system you are looking to buy it might not save you much money if you build yourself.
That is what we try to find out in this video, How much more are you really paying when you purchase a CyberPowerPC? In this case, it's a few hundred dollars which could actually let you upgrade your system's RAM or SSD if you would like.
As far as the system itself goes, I let CyberPower do the work. I selected one of their prebuilt machines and changed things as I needed to in order to make sure I could buy them private party. For example, CyberPowerPC had their own water cooler in the system. I couldn't buy this anywhere, so I had to switch it over to a CoolerMaster water cooler that could be bought on CyberPowerPC and Newegg/Amazon.
After I had done this, I used PCPartPicker to build the same system I had spec'd up on CyberPowerPC's website. From there, it was a simple comparison. Overall, There was a $150 difference with you getting a MUCH better mouse and keyboard if you purchase this system yourself.
The thing is, however, CyberPower offers a 3-year warranty on all of their computers, and of course, they will send you the system completely built. For some, this warranty and easy of building will be completely worth a few extra hundred bucks. To others, however, they know most manufacturers warranty their parts for that long anyway, and they are more than happy to learn how to build a PC themselves. It's actually really fun!
Nevertheless, I hope this video did help you decide whether or not you should buy a CyberPowerPC. If it did, please give this video a thumbs up and be sure to subscribe to the channel for more awesome videos exactly like this every single day of the week. Thank you very much for watching. It really means a lot to us!
