About this video: What are the best 3 AMD graphics cards if you are on a budget in 2018 you ask? Well, that is exactly what we go over in this video. We talk about the best AMD GPUs if you are building a PC on a budget in 2018, and the best and easiest ways to buy AMD graphics cheaply in 2018.
Gone are the days of just jumping on Amazon or Newegg, finding the GPU you want, and clicking buy. Now, you have to be more inventive when you are building a gaming PC, and whether you are going with Nvidia or AMD, you will have to put your thinking caps on in order to not breaking your wallet.
So as far as my recommendations go, a 4GB RX 560 comes in the low end. This GPU can be picked up for $150 on Ebay and $240 on Amazon. It is very similar to the GTX 1050 from Nvidia when looking at benchmarks, but you get 2 more GB of VRAM for VRAM hungry games like GTA 5. This is a solid budget GPU.
Next, we have a 4GB R9 Fury X. You can get one of these on Ebay for $350, and when it comes to buying new on Amazon, you're looking at $750. That's a huge price to pay, and I would recommend buying used if you are going to buy an R9 Fury X. This graphics card is similar to a Nvidia GTX 980Ti lacking just behind in some benchmarks and just above in others. This is the overall best bang for your buck used AMD GPU right now.
Lastly, let's talk about the 4GB RX 470 from AMD. This card can be grabbed for $200 on Ebay, and currently, there is no one selling them on Amazon. This isn't a surprise as it's a pretty old card. Performance benchmarks put it close to a GTX 780 making it a last resort kind of card. A 4GB R9 Fury X is most definitely a better option for just a bit more money.
