Yeah until the mid game, lightning + tanker seemed to play nicely. Later on 130mm guns seem almost mandatory. A lot of stupid mistakes, a lot of money lost. Even with how much I've got, I might lose it, when conquering the last third of the map. Though is there a point to conquering everything? If I do it efficiently, might get more good ships and a little money. If done badly, welp there goes tens of g-s.

Really like the writing though. Wish there was more of it. I think there are not enough events. Would've been cool to have these events every time you go to a new city. Because christ that fate route was amazing. Starting a cult, total 180, just amazing. I wonder if the other 2 options were as good. I hoped that there were more events that pin pointed you to hidden villages, but haven't see any apart from the 1 at the start of the game, and I've gone through all cities. Am I supposed to find them blindly?

Still missiles and airplanes elude me. They hard counter each other, you shoot something, they shoot airplanes to take it down. And when I try to shoot down a missile, I don't succeed, when the enemy does it, he does it perfectly. Why do I keep lugging all those airplanes and missiles, when defending them through proxy fire is much more cost effective. At least I think so. Though proxy ammo costs a pretty penny also. Really need to change all the weak planes, as they can't equip AA missiles. Though there are so few of the good ones around. Does it matter even? There was an instance where my 2 good planes got wrecked by the enemy's bad ones. The planes seem to be quite dumb or mutually destructive, just doesn't work effectively. Then again crashing my ship and spending fuel to backtrack isn't that cost effective either.

I guess I'm this far, might as well conquer the whole map? Or just beeline to the destination, maybe take the surrounding areas just in case. Decisions decisions. Definitely have to take all the nukes beforehand. Maybe even equip them all.
