Hobo 3: Wanted - Game Walkthrough (full)
941After Hobo escaped from prison, he is now sleeping back again in the cozy side of the trash can. But looks like he is now a wanted in this game called Hobo 3: Wanted! What you must do here is move your character Hobo again and start eliminating all the threat in your life. Use your attacks like punching or kicking to defeat the people around you. You will also learn new funny attacks for Hobo as you progress in the area. There are also new attacks that can be unlocked and be used quickly each time you get pass a new area.
Overview:
After the end of Hobo 2, Hobo has escaped prison and has become a wanted man. Hobo being who he is, just sleeps under the shade of the tree. An officer doesn’t like this and smacks Hobo right on the nose and pointing at his wanted poster. Hobo as usual, being enraged as his sleep has been disturbed once again. Hobo is on a rampage again avoiding the cops as well as fighting against the regular people.
Aesthetics:
Hobo 3 uses the same art style as the first two games. The game uses a 2D cartoon graphical presentation giving it a whimsical and comical feel to it. It’s also somewhat a bloody game so you would see a lot of blood when the fighting ensues. Then of course there are also the disgusting aspects of the game in terms of the aesthetic aspect. You get to see some piss, poop and more blood as well. The music is also recycled from the first two games. There are around 3 of them which have that jazzy feel to them and they alternate at specific parts of the game.
Gameplay:
Hobo 3 has the same gameplay mechanics from the first two games. It is a 2D beat em up game mixed with elements of fighting. Players control Hobo making him move in the levels. Hobo can move in any direction but the main point is to go to the right side. However before one can proceed to the right, they have to beat all the enemies on the area. In order to beat the enemies, players can control Hobo in making him fight. Pressing the right button will allow Hobo to punch or kick his enemies. He also has a variety of combos he can do. These combos can be a bit extreme when it comes to the presentation. Hobo can piss on his enemies slowing them for the moment. Hobo can also poop on the enemies making them stunned for a bit. Hobo can also use a variety of items on the ground that he can slam and throw onto the enemiesdealing more damage. These items disappear though after being used for a period of time. After passing specific parts of the level, new combos are unlocked. If you want to know what the combos are then just press P to find out more. You’ll also know how many combos you have yet to learn which can be unlocked later on. Speaking of the progress of the story, the game is divided into different areas. When you finish an area, the players are given a password. They can input the password if ever they want to continue where they last stopped playing or if they get killed somewhere along the way. Hobo only has one life so getting killed means starting at the beginning unless you already have passwords. The end shows Hobo sleeping under a tree again not giving a care that he is being hunted down by the people.
