Team up with other people that love tequila and love to beat zombies in some barren land. Join this team as they fight more zombies in this action and shooting game called Tequila Zombies 3: Thing to Die For. Unlike before, you can now try and play 2 new characters. Pick a map and defeat as many zombies as you can to survive each wave. A new area will be opened until you reach the boss. Defeat this boss so you can unlock new locations. Pick up guns and cash dropped by the zombies. Always check new weapons and items that you can unlock before starting a mission.

Overview:

It seems that the zombies in the desert aren’t going anytime soon. Our new character Jeff is stranded along with his two guys. The other two guys get killed off already leaving Jeff to fend off for his self. Miguel from the first game and Jacqueline from the second game are there on coincidence but their helicopter is running out of fuel and crashes onto the zombies. The three decide to work together to get rid of the zombie infestation in the area and have a nice shot of Tequila.

Aesthetics:

Tequila Zombies 3 uses the same art style from the first two games. It has that comic book style of art and with the characters having a nice shade to them. They look cartoony in a way but it has that gritty feel you would expect from a zombie apocalypse kind of feel to it. There are some blood effects in the game but not to a great extent. The game’s music has that typical western action theme to it. It has rock and roll as well as hardcore rifts that make you pumped for getting rid of zombies along your way.

Gameplay:

Tequila Zombies 3 allows you to choose three different characters this time. This time there is some variety depending on which character you choose as some move faster and some is more proficient with range weapons. Once you’ve chosen a character you can’t swap them unless you start a new file. The gameplay for Tequila Zombies 3 is primarily the same as the first two games. You control your character by making them move from left to right. You need to navigate your mouse to make your character face a certain direction. Zombies and enemies will be appearing from both sides so you have to kill them all. You initially start with a melee weapon and handgun. You can use your melee weapon by hitting the enemies. You gain ammo from enemy drops which allow you to use handguns. The enemies will also drop health kits to restore your life as well as hot sauce. The hot sauce will allow you to deal double damage for a short duration. When you get a Tequila bottle, you’ll have an increase in your power gauge. When your power gauge has filled half way or all the way then you can use your special move to kill all enemies in the field. You’ll also gain some money drops from the enemies. You can use your money to buy more weapons which range from melee to guns. Different guns can be unlocked later on and you can equip them and swap them when you play the levels. In terms of the levels there are only three areas but with multiple levels. When you do die you have to restart all over again but this time you get stronger due to the weapons you unlocked. Just trek through each level until you face the boss of th area and finish the game.
