Horror JRPG Monark has great ideas but poorly done
11Horror JRPG Monark looked to be the next, new sleeper hit. Developed by Lancrasse and published by Furyu, the game had a lot of promise. It was headed by former Shin Megami Tensei developers and had a fresh take with its horror atmosphere.
While Monark had some great ideas, unfortunately a lot of them were poorly done. For every great thing the game did, the game did two bad things. Add enough negative things in a game and the JRPG goes from being pretty good to merely average. Or even an unenjoyable game.
