Elon Musk is what we might generously call a polarising figure and that's partially a symptom of just being a high profile person who's opinionated. There is one area where he's managed to totally alienate just about every part of a community aside from those who buy into his ideas almost religiously, that is his ownership of Twitter.

Twitter, sadly, is a site I use an awful lot and his ownership of it has changed the user experience, most would say that it's made the user experience worse. The thing that's perhaps interesting to me though is how Elon Musk demonstrates at least a partial understanding of social media dynamics and how he's crudely applied it in a way that's managed to produce a product that potentially has a use case, but is now so toxic that the use case is made irrelevant for anyone who has already "won" the game of Twitter.
