Are you looking to add a dash of professionalism or a personal touch to every email you send? A well-crafted email signature in the Microsoft Outlook Mail app can do just that. Whether it's your contact information, a favorite quote, or social media links, an email signature ensures your emails always carry a part of your identity or brand.
In this video I'll guide you through the simple steps of adding a signature in the Microsoft Outlook Mail app, a must-know for anyone aiming to make their email communications more impactful.
Step 1. Open the Outlook app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device. You'll land on your Outlook home screen.
Step 2. Tap your profile icon at the top of this screen to open a menu, and then tap the "Settings" icon in this menu. Your Outlook settings screen opens.
Step 3. Navigate to the Mail Accounts section, and then tap the Outlook Mail account you want to add a signature for. Settings options for that specific Outlook Mail account are displayed.
Step 4. Navigate to the Mail section, and then tap "Signature." If you have multiple Outlook accounts set up in the Outlook Mail app, you'll see a Per Account Signature toggle at the top. Toggle this option on if you want to set up different email signatures for different accounts. Alternatively, you can toggle this option off if you want to use one signature for all of the email accounts set up in the Outlook app. In this example, I'll toggle on "Per Account Signature" to use a different email signature for each account.
Step 5. Tap the Outlook email account you want to add a signature for. A Signature window opens.
Step 6. Enter what you want to be the email signature that will get populated at the end of all emails sent from this specific email account, and then tap the check mark at the top of this window. That signature will now be added to the end of all emails sent from that specific Outlook email account.
