How to add an Image & Adjust Size on OBS using PC (Easy Method)
To add an image and adjust its size in OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) on a PC, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open OBS Studio
Launch OBS on your computer.
Step 2: Create or Select a Scene
Create a New Scene or select an existing one where you want to add the image.
Step 3: Add an Image Source
In the “Sources” panel, click the “+” button at the bottom.
Select “Image” from the list of source types.
Step 4: Name Your Image Source
A dialog box will appear asking you to name the new source. Enter a name (e.g., "Logo" or "Overlay") and click “OK”.
Step 5: Configure the Image Source
Browse for the Image File:
In the properties window, click the “Browse” button next to the "Image File" field.
Navigate to the location of the image file on your computer, select it, and click “Open”.
Optional Settings:
You can adjust settings like "Unload Image when not showing" if you want the image to be unloaded from memory when it's not visible in the scene.
Click “OK” to add the image source to your scene.
Step 6: Adjust the Image Size and Position
Select the Image Source:
Click on the image source in the "Sources" panel to select it.
Resize the Image:
Click and drag the red bounding box handles in the preview window to resize the image. Use the corner handles to maintain the aspect ratio while resizing.
Hold the Shift key while resizing to ignore the aspect ratio constraints.
Reposition the Image:
Click and drag the image within the preview window to move it to the desired position.
Step 7: Apply Filters (Optional)
Right-Click the Image Source:
If you want to apply additional effects, right-click the image source in the "Sources" panel and select "Filters".
Add Filters:
You can add filters like "Color Correction" to adjust brightness, contrast, and color, or "Crop/Pad" to crop the image.
Step 8: Save and Test
Save Your Scene:
Make sure to save your scene configuration.
Test Your Stream or Recording:
Start a test stream or recording to ensure the image displays correctly and is properly sized and positioned.
By following these steps, you can easily add and adjust an image in OBS, allowing you to enhance your live stream or recording with custom graphics, logos, or overlays.
