How to Block a Number on Your Motorola Android Phone (Best Method)
2Motorola Android phones primarily use the Google Phone app (the default dialer) for call management, and the best and most direct method for blocking a specific number is right within that app.
There are three main ways to block a number using this method, depending on where the number is located:
Method 1: Blocking from the Call History (Recents)
This is the fastest method for blocking a number that has recently called you.
Open the Phone app (the dialer icon).
Tap the Recents tab (or Call history) at the bottom.
Tap and hold the phone number you want to block.
A pop-up menu will appear. Tap Block/report spam (or Block number).
Check the box for Report call as spam if the call was a spammer (this helps Google's spam filter).
Tap Block to confirm.
Result: Calls and texts from this number will be blocked and sent directly to voicemail.
