This recipe calls for somen noodles with a dipping sauce made by adding mapo tofu seasoning to mashed tofu. The rich flavor is addictive! ♪ We also recommend pouring the remaining sauce over rice!

■Ingredients (Serves 2-3)
・3 bundles of somen noodles (150g)
・300g silken tofu
・1 packet of mapo tofu seasoning
・Scallions (chopped) to taste
☆Dipping Sauce Condiments
・1 tablespoon of mentsuyu (3x concentrated)
・4 tablespoons of ground white sesame seeds
・1 teaspoon of chili oil
■Procedure
(1) Boil water in a pot and add the somen noodles. Bring to a boil, then cover, turn off the heat, and let sit for 3 minutes. Drain the water and rinse in cold water to remove any slime. Serve in a bowl (somen noodles).
(2) Place the tofu in a bowl and mash until finely ground. Add the mapo tofu mix and the ☆ ingredients and mix (dipping sauce). (Tofu does not need to be drained.
Adjust the amount of chili oil to taste.
We use mapo tofu mix that can be eaten uncooked. Please check before use.)
(3) Divide the mixture equally into separate bowls, add the green onions, and serve with the somen noodles.
