■ Ingredients (Serves 2)
・6 thinly sliced pork belly
・6 bell peppers (180g)
・A pinch of salt and pepper
・2 tablespoons yakiniku sauce
・1 teaspoon salad oil
■ Steps
(1) Spread the pork lengthwise and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place one bell pepper in front of each piece of pork and lightly crush it with the palm of your hand. Roll it up tightly, squeezing the meat together to seal it together. Repeat to make a total of 6 pieces (meat rolls). (・If you are concerned about the stem and seeds of the peppers, press your thumb into the stem and remove them.
・Squeezing the meat tightly will prevent it from coming off when grilling.)
(2) Add salad oil to a frying pan over medium heat and place the meat rolls, end-side down. Cook, turning the meat rolls until browned all over. (After adding the meat rolls, do not touch them for 1-2 minutes. Cooking the end-side thoroughly will prevent the meat from coming off.)
(3) Cover and steam over low heat for 2-3 minutes. Add the yakiniku sauce and mix well.
