To record up to one hour of gameplay on your Xbox Series X using a USB drive, follow these steps:

Connect an External Drive:
Plug in a USB 3.0 or higher SSD or thumb drive that is formatted to NTFS.
Make sure the drive has a capacity larger than 128GB.
Configure the Drive:

Go to Settings on your Xbox Series X.
Navigate to System - Storage.
Set the connected drive as the capture location.
Choose Capture Settings:
Head to Preferences - Capture & Share.

Select the clip duration (up to 1 hour) and resolution (1080p or 4K).
Ensure you’ve chosen the external drive as the destination.
Start Recording:

Launch the game you want to record.
Press the menu button on your controller to start and stop recording.
View Your Clips:

Access the Media Player app to play the recorded clips from the local drive.
