How to Enter in a DATE & Time on your Xbox Series X (Settings Tutorial)
To set the date and time on your Xbox Series X, follow these steps:
Go Offline:
First, ensure that your console is offline. If your Xbox Series X is connected online, the date and time are automatically set, and you won’t be able to manually edit them.
Navigate to Settings and select General on the left side of the menu.
Then choose Network settings and select the Go Offline option.
Power Cycle:
Next, power cycle your Xbox Series X. Turn off the console and unplug the power cable.
Wait for at least 30 seconds, then plug the power cable back in and turn the console back on.
Adjust Date and Time:
Head to Settings (you can find it on the second row of the Home menu or Guide menu).
Inside the Settings menu, select System.
In the System menu, choose Time.
You can now select either Time or Date:
With Time, you can change the hours and minutes.
With Date, you can change the day, month, and year.
Keep in Mind:
If you connect your Xbox Series X online again, the time and date will automatically adjust to the present time and date.
To maintain the manually set time and date, it’s best to keep your console offline.
Additionally, in the same System – Time menu, you can:
Change the time zone by selecting from a list of options.
Enable automatic daylight-saving adjustment (check the box next to “Automatically adjust for daylight saving”).
Switch to a 24-hour clock display (check the box next to “24 hour clock”).
Remember, these steps ensure your Xbox Series X reflects the correct date and time for your gaming adventures!
