This quick Google Docs tutorial will show you how to change your page size through the setup options. Here you can also change between portrait and landscape.

Changing your page size will allow you to correctly format your document to the paper you will be printing on.

To change your page size open the file options at the top of your Google Docs tab. Choose the page setup options from the drop down then select the page size from the new window that is prompted.
