In this video, I will show you how to check your used and available disk space storage through your Ubuntu Linux terminal. The df command, short for Disk Free, will be the command used to check the amount of disk space on your Ubuntu filesystems. It generates a data output, in tabulated form, that's human readable.

Steps To Check Free Disk Space On Ubuntu:
1. Open up your terminal. If you want to check your disk space storage on a cloud server, log in using an SSH client. If you're checking the disk space on your computer, simply open up your terminal
2. Type the following command:

df -h

3. You will now get a tabulated read out in terminal for your disk space. If you're checking your disk space storage on a virtual private server (VPS), look for the filesystem named /dev/vda1 mounted in root denoted by /

• Filesystem - the filesystem source name
• Size - storage size
• Used - used storage space
• Avail - available storage space
• Use% - percentage of space used by that filesystem
• Mounted On - the location the filesystem is mounted

Congratulations, you have successfully checked your used and available disk space storage on your Ubuntu Linux terminal.
