By default, your Xbox Live Gold subscription doesn't have an expiration date, but rather is set up to auto renew. As a result, the date you'll see initially will be the automatic renewal date. However, if you turn off automatic renewal, your renewal date will effectively be the expiration date for your Xbox Live Gold service. For anyone interested in how to turn off Xbox Live automatic renewal, I link to that video in the description. Now I'll show you where to go to see either the automatic renewal or expiration date associated with your Xbox Live service.

Step 1. Open your web browser, and then navigate to xbox.com.

Step 2. Click "Sign In" in the upper right corner of the screen. An Xbox Live sign in screen appears. Enter the username and then password associated with your Xbox Live account, and then click the blue "Sign In" button. You'll return to the Xbox Live home screen, and you'll see your gamerpic in the upper right corner of the screen.

Step 3. Click your gamerpic in the upper right corner of the screen. A drop-down menu appears.

Step 4. Click "Subscriptions" in the drop-down menu. The Services & Subscriptions screen appears. Locate your Xbox Live Gold subscription in this section. This section is where either the next charge or expiration date associated with your Xbox Live Gold account will be displayed.
