How to Create Facebook Messenger Poll

The Facebook Messenger app has a large number of uses beyond just sending messages. You can send and receive payments from friends and family, share your location, set shared reminders, play games, and more. Facebook also gives you the ability to add a poll to a Facebook Messenger discussion that makes it easy for large or small groups to quickly and easily give feedback on a specific question. You can make a Facebook Messenger poll in a matter of seconds, but you'll only see the option if you have more than two people in your conversation.
And now, let's walk through the steps to create a Facebook Messenger poll in the Facebook Messenger app for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.
Step 1. Tap to launch the Facebook Messenger app. Your Facebook Messenger home screen appears, displaying a list of your active conversations.
Step 2. Tap to select the group conversation you want to start a poll in. The conversation window for that Facebook Messenger group discussion appears. Alternatively, you'll need to tap the "New Message" icon in the upper right corner of the home screen to start a new group conversation. It's important to remember that you must be in a conversation with at least two other people before you can start a Facebook Messenger poll.
Step 3. Tap the "+" icon displayed along the row of icons at the bottom of the conversation window. A menu flys up from the bottom of the screen.
Step 4. Tap "Polls" in the top row of icons. The Poll screen appears.
Step 5. Enter the question associated with your Facebook Messenger poll in the Question field.
Step 6. Tap "Add Option" to enter a text option. Alternatively, tap the calendar icon on the far right side of the Add Option field to bring up a date selector where you can enter a date and time that will be displayed as an option.
Step 7. Tap the blue "Create Poll" button after you're finished adding options to your poll. You'l be returned to the group conversation window where you created your Facebook Messenger poll. You'll now see a message toward the bottom of that group conversation window informing you that you created a poll. Poll results will also be displayed here as poll participants vote.
Step 8. Tap the blue "See Poll" link to the right of the text informing you that you created a Facebook Messenger poll. Your poll will be displayed. This is where you can see results and edit your poll.
