How to Enable Secure Boot in Bios on Windows 10 PC (100% Works!)
To enable Secure Boot in the BIOS on a Windows 10 PC, follow these steps:
Access the BIOS/UEFI Settings:
Shut down your PC completely.
Power on the PC and press the key to enter BIOS/UEFI setup (common keys are F2, F10, Del, or Esc—check your PC’s manual or boot screen for the exact key).
You may need to press the key repeatedly during startup.
Navigate to the Boot or Security Tab:
Use the arrow keys to move through the BIOS/UEFI menu.
Look for a tab labeled Boot, Security, System Configuration, or Authentication (the exact name varies by manufacturer).
Locate Secure Boot Option:
Find an option labeled Secure Boot or UEFI Secure Boot. It’s often under a sub-menu like Boot Options or Security Settings.
If Secure Boot is disabled, it will typically say Disabled or Off.
Enable Secure Boot:
Select the Secure Boot option and change it to Enabled using the provided keys (often Enter, +/-, or as indicated on-screen).
Some systems may require you to set a Supervisor Password in the Security tab before enabling Secure Boot.
Check UEFI/Legacy Boot Settings:
Secure Boot requires UEFI mode, not Legacy Boot.
In the Boot tab, ensure the Boot Mode is set to UEFI (not Legacy or CSM). If it’s set to Legacy, change it to UEFI.
Save and Exit:
Press the key to save changes and exit (usually F10).
Confirm by selecting Yes to save the configuration.
The PC will restart.
