How to Connect Xbox Wireless Headset to Computer or PC & Get Audio (Settings Tutorial)
1Connecting your Xbox Wireless Headset to a computer or PC is straightforward. You can enjoy high-quality audio and chat using the following steps:
Powering Up:
Locate the green power button on the back of the left earcup.
Press this button to turn on the headset. You’ll hear a startup tone, and the power light (above the power button) and mute light (at the tip of the headset microphone) will activate.
Pairing with an Xbox Console:
Ensure both the headset and Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One console are powered on.
Press and hold the green power button on the headset (located on the back of the left earcup) for 4 seconds.
You’ll hear a repeated pairing tone, and the power light on the headset will start flashing.
On your console, press the Pair button (the same button used to pair a wireless controller).
When the headset and console connect, the power lights on both devices will stop flashing.
Pairing with a Windows Device or Mobile Device via Bluetooth:
Make sure the headset is powered on.
Press and hold the green power button on the headset for 4 seconds.
The power light will start flashing.
On your device, go to the Bluetooth connections menu and scan for available devices.
Look for “Xbox Wireless Headset” in the available devices list.
When the headset connects, the power light will stop flashing.
Adjust Settings:
Once paired, you can adjust your headset volume and audio settings as desired.
