How to Connect your Xbox Elite Controller to your Phone (Pair & Sync)
1Connecting your Xbox Elite Controller to your phone is a great way to enhance your mobile gaming experience. Here’s how you can do it:
Put the Controller in Pairing Mode:
Turn on your Xbox Elite Controller by pressing the Xbox button in the middle.
Locate the wireless pairing button on the top edge of the controller near the USB charging port.
Press and hold this button until the Xbox button starts blinking rapidly. This indicates that the controller is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
Access Your Phone’s Bluetooth Menu:
On your Android phone, swipe down from the top of the display to open the Notification Shade.
Long-press the Bluetooth button to bring up a menu of devices your phone can connect to.
Alternatively, go to your phone’s Settings app, tap Bluetooth, and view the list of paired and available devices.
Pair the Controller:
In the available devices menu, you should see the Xbox Wireless Controller listed.
Tap on it to start the pairing process.
A pop-up notification will ask if you want to pair the controller to your phone. Confirm by tapping “Pair.”
Ready to Play:
Once connected, the Xbox button on the controller will glow a solid white.
