How to Connect Xbox Wireless Headset to Xbox Series X (Wireless Bluetooth)
3To connect your Xbox Wireless Headset to your Xbox Series X, follow these steps:
Powering Up:
The headset’s green power button is located on the back of the left earcup. Press this button to turn on the headset. You’ll hear a startup tone, and the headset’s power light (just above the power button) and mute light (at the tip of the headset microphone) will activate.
Pairing the Headset to the Xbox Console:
Ensure that both the headset and console are powered on.
Press and hold the green power button on the headset (located on the back of the left earcup) for 4 seconds.
You’ll hear a repeated pairing tone, and the power light on the headset will start flashing.
On your console, press the Pair button (this is the same button you use to pair a wireless controller with your console).
The power light on the console will also start flashing.
When the headset and console successfully connect, the power lights on both devices will stop flashing.
Note: Once the headset is paired with an Xbox console, turning on the headset will also power up the console.
Pairing the Headset via Bluetooth:
To connect your headset to a Windows, Android, or iOS device using Bluetooth:
Make sure the headset is powered on.
Press and hold the green power button on the headset (located on the back of the left earcup) for 4 seconds.
You’ll hear a repeated pairing tone, and the power light on the headset will start flashing.
Go to the Bluetooth connections menu on your device and scan for available devices.
The headset should appear as “Xbox Wireless Headset” in the available devices list.
When the headset connects with your device, the power light will stop flashing.
