How to Adjust the Sound Equalizer & Custom Audio on Xbox Wireless Headset (Settings Tutorial)
To customize your audio experience on the Xbox Wireless Headset, follow these steps:
Open the Xbox Accessories App:
Turn on your Xbox Wireless Headset and connect it to your console.
Open the Xbox Accessories app.
Highlight the picture of the headset and select “Configure”.
Choose Your EQ Settings:
The app provides several stock EQ presets, including Game, Heavy Bass, Movie, Music, and Speech.
However, for a more personalized experience, we recommend creating your own custom EQ settings.
Be cautious when switching between presets after customizing your EQ, as the app doesn’t save your custom profile if you revert to a preset.
Adjust the EQ:
Start with the Music EQ as a base, which generally sounds good to most ears.
Reduce the lower-end frequencies significantly to avoid overwhelming bass.
Balance the mids and highs for clarity.
Remember that personal preference plays a role, so feel free to experiment until you find a sound that suits you.
Additional Options:
Under Settings - General - Volume & audio output - Advanced, explore additional options.
Customize settings like Audio passthrough and Mono output.
You can even set your console to automatically mute speakers when a headset is attached.
Remember, finding the perfect sound is subjective, so tweak the settings until you achieve an audio experience that enhances your gaming adventures!
