Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to connect your Xbox One controller to your Xbox console:

1. Turn On Your Xbox Console
Press the Power button on the front of the console to turn it on.

2. Power On the Controller
Press and hold the Xbox button (the large, round button in the center of the controller) until it lights up. If it doesn’t light up, ensure the controller has batteries installed or is charged.

3. Locate the Sync Button on the Console
On the Xbox One S or Xbox One X:
The sync button is on the front-right corner, just below the power button.
On the original Xbox One:
The sync button is on the left side of the console near the disc tray.

4. Locate the Sync Button on the Controller
The sync button is a small, round button located at the top of the controller near the charging port.

5. Pair the Controller
Press and release the sync button on the console.
