Use the USB-C cable that came with your controller or any USB-C to USB-A cable. Plug one end into the controller and the other into a USB port on your PC.
The controller should automatically be recognized by Windows, and you can start using it for games that support controller input.
Using Bluetooth:
Enable Bluetooth on Your PC:
Ensure your PC supports Bluetooth or has a Bluetooth adapter. Go to Settings - Devices - Bluetooth & other devices, and toggle Bluetooth to 'On'.
Put the Controller in Pairing Mode:
Press and hold the Xbox button on your controller to turn it on. Then, hold down the pair button (this is the small button next to the USB-C port) until the Xbox button starts flashing. This indicates the controller is in pairing mode.
Pair the Controller:
On your PC, in the Bluetooth settings, click on "Add Bluetooth or other device", then choose "Bluetooth". Your Xbox controller should appear in the list of devices. Click on it to pair. Once paired, the Xbox button will stop flashing and remain lit, showing it's connected.
