This video shows you exactly how to download and install Minecraft maps in Minecraft 1.15.2. We cover everything showing you how to download custom Minecraft maps to how you can add Minecraft maps to Minecraft and play them in single player. It is all covered in-depth in this video, so without any further delay, here is how you can get custom maps in Minecraft 1.15.2!
The first step of getting #MinecraftMaps in 1.15.2 is downloading them. Luckily, we have an incredible list of 15 custom maps that all work perfectly in Minecraft 1.15.2. Everything from parkour custom maps to adventure custom maps to even just stunning Minecraft builds that you can download and explore, our list has them all. Once you have your #Minecraft map downloaded, it is time to get it installed. To start with, we need to right-click on the #Map file we downloaded, click 'Extract All...', and then click the 'Extract' button in the bottom left. This will then make another folder appear. Open this folder, and keep clicking through folders until you see 'DIM1', 'DIM-1', and a bunch of other files and folders. Then, click the back arrow in the top right of your file manager. Now, drag the folder you see there to your desktop. You can delete all other folders and files associated with your custom map other than this folder you have just moved to your desktop.
At this point, we are ready to install our Minecraft Map in Minecraft 1.15.2. To do this, click on the little Windows icon in the top or bottom right of your screen, and search for the 'run' application. Open this app, and in the test box in it, type '%appdata%', and hit enter. This will then open up your 'Roaming' folder. Here you will see a '.minecraft' folder. Open your .minecraft folder, and you'll see a 'saves' folder. Open your saves folder, and you will see folders with the names of all of your single-player Minecraft worlds.
Now, all you need to in order to add Minecraft maps to Minecraft 1.15.2 is drag-and-drop the custom map folder from your desktop into this saves folder. When you do that, open the folder you just dragged over and make sure it has the 'DIM1' and 'DIM-1' folders. If it doesn't, drag over the folder that does.
Nevertheless, you can open up Minecraft 1.15.2 and from the main menu click on single player. Here, you will see the Minecraft world that you wanted to install. You can join it just like any other singleplayer world. You can even rename it and change other settings with the world.
