9In this video, you will learn how to download, install and use the YubiKey Manager application (app) on your desktop computer such as a Windows PC. The YubiKey Manager allows you to see your security keys serial number, and firmware version. You can configure OTP, FIDO2, and PIV application pin codes including setting and resetting them. Lasty you can configure what authentication methods is available over different interfaces such as USB or NFC. The YubiKey Manager is compatible with any supported YubiKey from Yubico.

Steps To Download, Install And Use YubiKey Manager App On Desktop:
1. Navigate to the YubiKey home page https://www.yubico.com/
2. Click Support
3. Click Downloads
4. Scroll down to End-user tools and click Downloads under YubiKey Manager
5. Select YubiKey Manager for your desired OS, in this video tutorials case its "Windows (x64) Download"
6. Choose a desired save location and click Save
7. Open the YubiKey manager installer
8. Click yes for the user account control to proceed with the installation
9. Click Next
10. Click Next if you want to roll with the default installation location
11. Click Install
12. Uncheck mark "Run YubiKey Manager" and click Finish
13. Run YubiKey Manager as administrator
14. Click Yes when greeted with the Windows User Account Control
15. Insert your YubiKey into your Windows PC, it will then be detected by the YubiKey Manager app and display YubiKey type, firmware and serial number
16. Click on Application near the Home tab to configure OTP, FIDO2, PIV pins. and click Interfaces tab to configure what is available over USB and NFC interfaces.
17. Set a pin for example a FIDO2 pin as per this video demonstration, click application, then click FIDO2, click Set PIN or Reset FIDO if a pin is already set, and enter your new desired pin and confirm it.
Congratulations, you have successfully downloaded, installed and used the YubiKey Manager app to set up a 2FA pin, e.g. FIDO2 pin.
