Just Enough Items is the modern version of Not Enough Items and TooManyItems. Providing the same features as these mods but updated to Minecraft 1.21. So, without anymore delay, here is how to download and install Just Enough Items for Minecraft 1.21!
To get started, we will need to go over how to download Just Enough Items 1.21. There is a link in the description above that will take you to our complete text guide on getting JEI 1.21. This is a complete text tutorial on adding the Just Enough Items mod to Minecraft 1.21. On this page, click the “Download Just Enough Items” button to go to the official 1.21 JEI download page.
On this page, click on the “Files” tab and find the 1.21 Forge version of JustEnoughItems. Click the three dots next to this version, and click “Download File”. When you do, JEI 1.21 will start downloading. You may need to keep or save the file depending on your browser.
We also need to download and install Forge 1.21. There is a guide in the description above that goes over exactly how to get Forge for 1.21 Just Enough Items. That covers everything you need to know to get Forge including how to fix potential issues you may have along the way.
Once you have Forge, play Minecraft using your Forge installation. Then, from the Minecraft main menu, go to the “Mods” menu with mods button. Then, click “Open Mods Folder” in the bottom left. This will open your Minecraft mods folder.
In order to install Just Enough Items for Minecraft 1.21, just drag-and-drop the JEI file you downloaded into this mods folder. It’s that easy to add Just Enough Items to Minecraft 1.21.
You aren’t complete finished though as you need to restart Minecraft making sure to play with your Forge installation. You must play Minecraft with Forge in order for Just Enough Items 1.21 to work.
In Minecraft, you will instantly see JEI when you open your inventory. You can search for and find items. Click on them to pull up their crafting recipes. If you are in a crafting table and have the items in your inventory, you can click the “+” to add the items to the crafting table. Shift clicking the “+” will add as many items as possible to the crafting table making it easy to craft in bulk.
Just Enough Items 1.21 will work automatically with modded items as well making it a truly must have if you are playing modded Minecraft 1.21.
