How To Fix Can't Start Game Or App On PS5 (Easy Method)
3If your PS5 isn't starting a game or app, try these fixes:
Restart your console by turning it off completely, waiting a few seconds, and turning it back on.
Restore licenses by navigating to Settings, Users and Accounts, Other, and Restore Licenses.
Check for game updates by highlighting the game, pressing the Options button, and selecting Check for Update.
Reinstall the game by deleting it and redownloading it from your library.
Update system software by going to Settings, System, System Software Update and Settings.
Enter Safe Mode by turning off your PS5, holding the power button until you hear two beeps, connecting your controller via USB, and selecting Rebuild Database.
Clean the game disc if you're using a physical copy by wiping it with a microfiber cloth.
