To use voice chat in Fortnite on your Nintendo Switch, follow these steps:

Plug in a Headset – Since the Switch doesn't have a built-in microphone, you'll need a headset with a mic.

Open Fortnite Settings – Press the Plus (+) button on your Joy-Con to access the settings menu.

Go to Audio Settings – Navigate to the Speaker icon and find the Voice Chat section.

Enable Voice Chat – Make sure Voice Chat is turned ON and set Voice Chat Method to Open Mic (instead of Push-to-Talk).
