About this video: In this video, we will guide you through the entire process of setting up a modded Minecraft server using Forge 1.19.4 in order to play modded Minecraft with your friends. This tutorial will show you everything you need to know to create your own modded Minecraft server so that you can play with friends and enjoy all the great mods available for Minecraft 1.19.4.

To get start, you will need to download Forge for Minecraft 1.19.4. We have a complete guide on how to download Forge on our website, which you can access via the link in the description above. This guide will take you to the official Forge download page where you can download the 1.19.4 Forge installer which we will use to get the Forge server files.

Before we move on to getting the Forge server files though, create a folder on your desktop called “Modded Minecraft Server 1.19.4”. This is where all of your Minecraft modded server files will be kept.

Now, open up the Forge Installer for 1.19.4, and click on the “Install Server” option. A red box will appear with a button in the middle of it. Click this button, and select the folder that you just created. This is where your Forge 1.19.4 modded server files will be installed. When you come back to the launcher, the red box should have disappeared. Click “Install”, and the Forge server files will install.

Once you have the modded server files downloaded for 1.19.4, open the folder you installed the files to. Double-click on the run.bat file. The server will attempt to start, but eventually it will fail saying you have to agree to the EULA. There wil be some files generated though, and one of these will be the eula.txt file.

Open the eula.txt file in notepad, and change “EULA=false” to EULA=true”. Then, save the file.

Now, when you double-click on the run.bat file, your modded Minecraft 1.19.4 server will launch! You can now join your server using the IP address “localhost”. It is worth noting though that you, and anyone else who joins your server will need to will need to play Minecraft with Forge 1.19.4, and they will also need any mods that you have installed on your server installed in their local mods folder as well.

With the server set up and running, you will need to port forward in order to allow your friends to join. We have a complete guide to port forwarding for a Minecraft server on our website, which is linked in the description above. This guide will walk you through the entire process of setting up port forwarding for your Minecraft server.

Now that your server is set up and port forwarding is configured, you can start adding mods to your server. We have a companion video that shows you how to add mods to your Forge 1.19.4 server, which you can check out for more information.

Congratulations! You now know how to create a modded Minecraft server using Forge 1.19.4. If you have any questions or need assistance, please leave a comment below, and we'll do our best to help.
