About this video: PurPur is a new Minecraft server software that you can install on a 1.19.4 server that will allow you to use plugins. However, that’s not PurPur’s main feature. Primarily, PurPur will allow you to increase the performance of your Minecraft server. It’s not uncommon to install PurPur on a Minecraft 1.19.4 server and completely eliminate all lag in the process.

With that being said, how do you make a PurPur server for Minecraft 1.19.4? First things first, we need to download the PurPur MC server file. You can find a link in the description above that will take you to the PurPur download page. Here, you will find all of the versions of PurPur. Click the download button under the “Build” section for the most recent version, and the download will begin. You may need to keep or save the file depending on your browser.

Once you have PurPur downloaded, create a new “PurPur 1.19.4 Server” folder on your desktop. Move the PurPur server file you downloaded into this folder. Then, right-click on it, click rename, and just rename it to “purpur” or “purpur.jar” depending on if you see the file name or not.

From there, right-click in the folder and click “Create” and “New Text Document”. Open the text document, and copy the code from the description above. Paste this in the text document. Then, click File “Save As”, and name the file “run.bat”. Make sure the Save Type As setting is “All Files”. Then, click save.

You will now have a run.bat file. This is what you will use to start your server. Double-click the run.bat file, and your server will try to start and fail. However, you should have an EULA.txt file. If not, you will need to download Java and run the Jarfix. You can find links to those in the description above.

Open the eula.txt file with notepad. Change the EULA=false line to EULA=true assuming you agree to the EULA. Then, save the file.

Now, when you double-click the run.bat file your server will start. How can you join this server? Well, you can use the IP address “localhost”. Keep in mind though that you are the only person who can join this server right now. This is great for testing plugins and other things like that, but what if you want other people to join?

In order to let your friends to join your Minecraft server, you will need to port forward. Luckily, we have a complete guide on how to port forward for Minecraft servers, including PurPur servers in the description above. That covers everything!

Additionally, if you do want to install plugins on your PurPur Minecraft server in 1.19.4, we have a complete guide on how to do exactly that in the description above!

Nevertheless, that is our complete guide on how to make a PurPur server in Minecraft 1.19.4. If you have any questions about how to create a PurPur 1.19.4, let us know in the comments. We will try our best to help you out.
