How to Make a Watchtime Command with Streamlabs Chatbot
A watchtime command will allow users to see and show how much time they have spent watching a stream. When activated the watchtime command will show how long the viewer has been watching the stream for. Watchtime commands are also a fun way to share how long a viewer has been watching during a specific event, for instance a 24 hour stream.
The watchtime command can be completely personalised as you’d like, however to include the amount of time watched you will need to include the text “$hours”. This will allow Streamlabs Chatbot to include the watchtime in the response. It is also a good idea to menton the user that is using the command in the response. Mentioning the user can be done by including the “$username” text in the message. With both of these text variables included in the message Streamlabs will be able to correctly mention and state the time watched when the watchtime command has been used in chat.
