Streamlabs Chatbot has inbuilt text code that can be used to tag a user in the response message. This is particularly useful when working with stream commands to ensure a user sees the response by mentioning them. Streamlabs chatbot offers three different methods for tagging a user, each with their own specific use case.

Using $username in the response will mention the user that activated the command, whereas $targetname will mention a specified name in the message. To specify the name the user activating the command will have to include the target name’s username after the command. A random viewer can also be mentioned by using $randusername in the response.
